To All Perry County Property Owners:

The Perry County Auditor’s Office has finished work on the reappraisal for 2011 tax year and the Department of Taxation in Columbus, Ohio has approved our new values as of February 24, 2012. I had initially wanted to have the reappraisal completed before this late date but there were several critical circumstances that were unavoidable. It had been mentioned to me that it would be very informational if all property owners could view their new values and have time to discuss this before tax bills went out in the mail. There are several other counties that do this for their property owners and this was my goal this year. I do apologize for falling short of that goal. I do want all property owners to know that my staff and I are here and ready to answer any and all questions as best we can and welcome your concerns.
